After 30 years working in the fashion industry and becoming a horse rider later in life, Black Horse’s founder Gillian Wooldridge discovered there was a lack of affordable horse wear that offered quality and value for money.  Using her horse riding knowledge and 20 years retail expertise in the fashion industry she decided to establish a new brand in the Australian market that would not only offer affordable and durable garments but also be fashionable and flattering. Inspired by her own beautiful Black Morgan horses it did not take long until the brand’s name was born: Black Horse Clothing.
